Late actress Tunisha Sharma’s mother Vanita questioned the makers of Khatron Ke Khiladi season 13, over their decision to take Sheezan Khan on board
Television actress Tunisha Sharma’s untimely demise left the industry and her fans in shock. Weeks after her ex-boyfriend and co-star Sheezan Khan, who was arrested for abetting suicide, was released on bail was granted permission by the Vasai court to travel abroad for a tv serial shoot. The news of his participation in Khatron Ke Khiladi season 13 has left everyone in shock including the late actress’ mother Vanita Sharma.
In a recent interaction with a news agency, the grieving mother has strongly reacted to the news and questioned this decision of the makers. Speaking to ANI about the same, she revealed that she has been reading news about Sheezan being offered reality shows. She questioned what type of message the producers want to impart on the society by taking in a contestant who is under trial. She went on to ask how this will negatively impact children and aspiring actors. Quoted by Hindustan Times, Vanita said, “What message are these channels wanting to impart to society by giving a chance to someone undertrial for a serious offence u/s 306 of IPC and against whom the police have submitted a chargesheet of 524 pages? For the unversed, the 20-year-old television actress was found hanging in the bathroom of her ex-boyfriend and co-star’s make-up room on the sets of her serial ‘Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul’. Talking about ex-boyfriend Sheezan, he was arrested under section 306 of IPC for abetment of suicide. In March 2023, he was granted bail.
According to the reports, the actor had filed an application before the court requesting his passport back, citing the shoot for an upcoming television show. He has been allowed by the court to travel abroad till July 10, 2023.
